The short answer
The DMUN Foundation is governed democratically by its own members: a General Assembly of Members sets the strategic direction, a Board of Trustees turns it into plans, and a volunteer Secretariat carries out the work.
The governing bodies
- General Assembly of Members : the primary decision-making body. Every member holds one vote, and any member may stand for election.
- Board of Trustees : the operative decision-making body. It approves the budget, admits members, and audits the Secretariat’s work.
- The Secretariat : the executive organ, led by the Executive Director as chief administrative officer.
Independent oversight
An Inspector-General and Ombudsman inspects and audits the work of the Foundation, and an Internal Tribunal for the Administration of Justice resolves internal disputes. Learn more on the Board of Trustees, General Assembly and Secretariat pages.
