Who we are
The DMUN Foundation is an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to the service and advocacy of children and youth. Founded in 2021 by Jaewon Choi, it is led by young people at every level, from its programmes to its governing bodies.
The Secretariat is based in Seoul, with a Liaison Office in the Americas in Boston. Everything the Foundation does rests on one conviction: young people are authors of policy, not only its subjects.

Our programmes
Discover Model United Nations, the flagship conference, runs alongside Model Parliament and Congress, DMUN Conventions, moot courts, debate competitions and more.
Every programme is free of charge, fully online and open to students everywhere: no fees, no travel, no barriers.

At the United Nations
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the UN system. Select a venue to see what that looks like.

Partnership with the ITTLLDC
The Foundation is the Technical Secretariat of the Youth Advisory Board of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITTLLDC), an intergovernmental organization with Observer Status at the UN General Assembly.
In that role it coordinates the Board’s delegations, supports the Think Tank’s engagements with governments and the UN system, and opens doors for young people from landlocked developing countries.
