How do I join the DMUN Foundation?

Frequently asked questions about the DMUN Foundation.

The short answer

Register for any DMUN Foundation programme. That automatically makes you a provisional member, free of charge. Upon approval by the Board of Trustees you become a full member with the right to vote and stand for election.

Joining as an individual

Individuals join by registering for any Foundation programme or by applying through the Foundation’s digital forum. Registration grants provisional member status, which includes access to all programmes and observer participation in meetings of the Governing Body. Full members additionally hold voting rights and may stand for election as an officer of the Foundation. See Become a DMUN Member for details.

Joining as an organisation

Youth-led and youth-serving organisations join through a process of adhesion, a negotiated accession, much as states accede to an international organisation. The organisation submits an Adhesion Request to the Board of Trustees, negotiates the terms of membership, concludes an Agreement on Adhesion and accedes to the Constitution of the Foundation.
