Global Youth Representative Dr. Victory Williams joined the panel Capping Climate Change from Space, organised by the Permanent Observer Mission of the Pan African Intergovernmental Agency for Water and Sanitation in Africa.
The event, organised by the Permanent Observer Mission of the Pan African Intergovernmental Agency for Water and Sanitation in Africa, examined how space technology can serve climate adaptation. The Foundation's representative spoke to the role of young scientists in that work.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
