Global Youth Representatives delivered the Foundation’s general statement and interventions on implementation, transparency and international assistance at the 11th Conference of States Parties, and met its President, Ambassador Carlos Mario Foradori.
The Arms Trade Treaty regulates the international trade in conventional arms. At the eleventh Conference of States Parties the Foundation's Global Youth Representatives delivered the general statement and interventions on treaty implementation, transparency and international assistance, and met the President of the session, Ambassador Carlos Mario Foradori of Argentina.
Advocacy of this kind sits at the centre of the Foundation's mandate: bringing the lived experience of children and young people into the rooms where decisions about them are made. Statements are delivered by young representatives themselves, most of them under twenty-five.
The full texts of related statements, submissions and reports are available in the documents library on the Publications page, where they can be filtered by category and year.
