Youth delegates and advocates from around the world joined the 2026 UN High-Level Political Forum, bringing diverse perspectives and lived experience.
The High-Level Political Forum is the United Nations' central platform for reviewing the 2030 Agenda, and the Foundation has fielded a delegation every year since 2024. Its representatives followed the official sessions, delivered interventions and met delegations throughout the two weeks of the forum.
Advocacy of this kind sits at the centre of the Foundation's mandate: bringing the lived experience of children and young people into the rooms where decisions about them are made. Statements are delivered by young representatives themselves, most of them under twenty-five.
The full texts of related statements, submissions and reports are available in the documents library on the Publications page, where they can be filtered by category and year.
This article is part of the Foundation’s public record of its engagements and programmes.
