H.E. Ambassador Yoseph Kassaye with the Executive Directors of the ITTLLDC and the DMUN Foundation

Executive Director Jaewon Choi held a tripartite meeting with His Excellency Mr. Dulguun Damdin-Od, Executive Director of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITTLLDC), and His Excellency Ambassador Yoseph Kassaye, Director-General for International Organizations of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The meeting was held at the Permanent Mission of Ethiopia to the United Nations in New York. The Executive Director was accompanied by Mr. Caleb Lee, Director for Governmental Engagement, and members of the ITTLLDC Youth Advisory Board.

The Executive Director took part in his capacity as Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Youth Advisory Board of the ITTLLDC.

The three sides discussed matters pertaining to the welfare and advancement of children and youth in Ethiopia, in particular in the context of landlocked developing countries.

They also discussed future cooperation between the ITTLLDC, the Foundation and the Youth Advisory Board with the Government of Ethiopia.

Bilateral meetings such as this one are conducted by the Office of the Executive Director and the Foundation's observer offices, which maintain working relationships with member states, intergovernmental organisations and civil society partners.
