In the official session on mobilising financing and science, technology and innovation for the SDGs, Executive Director Jaewon Choi represented the collective voice of the Major Group for Children and Youth.
Over the forum's two weeks the delegation delivered interventions in official sessions and side events, held bilateral meetings with missions and UN offices, and hosted informal consultations on youth participation in the Ministerial Declaration.
Advocacy of this kind sits at the centre of the Foundation's mandate: bringing the lived experience of children and young people into the rooms where decisions about them are made. Statements are delivered by young representatives themselves, most of them under twenty-five.
