The preparatory meeting of the President of the General Assembly began shaping the agenda of the 2026 UN Water Conference. The Foundation's interventions argued that children should be heard as a diverse coalition of stakeholders rather than a single uniform voice.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
