Readout of the meeting between Mr. Alejandro Nathaniel Lawson and H.E. Vice President Jessica Alupo of Uganda

Mr. Alejandro Nathaniel Lawson, Senior Officer of the DMUN Foundation and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the ITTLLDC Youth Advisory Board, met Her Excellency Ms. Jessica Alupo, Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Mr. Lawson and the Vice President held a cordial exchange on matters of relevance to children and youth, including the meaningful participation of young people in national development and in the work of the United Nations.

Mr. Lawson thanked Her Excellency for the exchange and for her attention to the welfare of young people in Uganda and across East Africa, and conveyed the greetings of the Foundation’s leadership.
