Alexa Dominique Pascual, the Foundation’s Observer to UN Headquarters and the Bretton Woods institutions, met H.E. Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa of Nepal on bringing the perspectives of children and youth into the follow-up to FfD4.
H.E. Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa of Nepal presided over the Economic and Social Council during its 2026 cycle. The Foundation's meetings with the President addressed the constructive engagement of children and youth across the ECOSOC system, including the High-Level Political Forum and the follow-up to the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development.
The Foundation treats diplomacy as a craft learned by doing. Its young officials prepare, conduct and follow up on meetings with senior counterparts themselves, supported by the Secretariat's protocol and liaison services.
