Readout of the meeting between Mr. Alejandro Nathaniel Lawson and Hon. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of International Relations and Trade of Namibia

Mr. Alejandro Nathaniel Lawson, Senior Officer of the DMUN Foundation and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the ITTLLDC Youth Advisory Board, met the Honourable Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of International Relations and Trade of the Republic of Namibia, on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Mr. Lawson and the Minister held a cordial exchange on matters of relevance to children and youth, including the meaningful participation of young people in national development and in the work of the United Nations.

Mr. Lawson thanked the Minister for the exchange and for her attention to the welfare of young people in Namibia and across Southern Africa, and conveyed the greetings of the Foundation’s leadership.
