The NGO Branch of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs administers consultative status with ECOSOC, the gateway through which civil society enters the UN system. The discussion with its Chief focused on widening that gateway for youth-led organisations.
Bilateral meetings such as this one are conducted by the Office of the Executive Director and the Foundation's observer offices, which maintain working relationships with member states, intergovernmental organisations and civil society partners.
