Young members of the Foundation chose between the Parliament Program, simulating legislative debate in national parliaments, and the Congress Program on the legislative process of the United States Senate.
The joint session ran the Foundation's two legislative simulations side by side: the Parliament Program, modelled on parliamentary debate, and the Congress Program, modelled on the legislative process of the United States Senate.
Programmes like this one form the educational core of the Foundation's work, introducing participants to multilateral negotiation, consensus-building and public speaking in realistic settings.
