Executive Director Jaewon Choi addressed Article 6 at the fifth session of the negotiations on the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation, as Thematic Focal Point of the Major Group for Children and Youth.
The fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee continued work on the framework convention and its two early protocols. The Foundation has followed the negotiations since their first substantive session in August 2025, and its Executive Director serves as Thematic Focal Point for Tax of the Major Group for Children and Youth.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
