A delegation joined UNOC3 in Nice, where Global Youth Representative Kenia Magdalena carried the Foundation’s advocacy on the ocean agenda into the conference.
The Third UN Ocean Conference in Nice gathered heads of state, scientists and civil society around the ocean agenda. The Foundation's delegate carried its advocacy on marine protection and youth participation into the conference and reported back through the documents library.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
