DMUN engaged at COP28 in Dubai as a youth-led civil society stakeholder in the global climate negotiations.
COP28 in Dubai concluded the first global stocktake of the Paris Agreement. The Foundation took part as a youth-led civil society stakeholder, following the negotiations and presenting its sustainability education work with partners.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
